On October 1, 2025, Galaxy Insurance Brokers opened its doors in Winnipeg as a fully independent Manitoba brokerage. Three offices, one team, and a commitment we have spent years working toward — to give Manitobans an insurance brokerage that reflects the communities it serves, in the languages they actually live in.
An independent Manitoba brokerage
Galaxy is owned by the three brokers whose names are on the door. No bank, no carrier, no head office in another province. That matters because it shapes every conversation we have — we recommend the coverage that fits the person in front of us, not the policy a head-office incentive plan tells us to push that quarter.
Manitoba already had plenty of brokerages. What it did not have, in any meaningful concentration, was one where you could walk in and have the policy explained to you in Punjabi or Hindi without losing the meaning. That gap is the reason Galaxy exists.
We wanted to build a place where clients feel seen, supported and protected — whether they are running a business, buying their first home, or insuring a fleet of trucks.
Three founding partners
All three principals hold the CAIB (Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker) and CIP (Chartered Insurance Professional) designations — the two senior credentials in the Canadian brokerage industry. Not every broker in Manitoba carries them. All three of ours do.
- Jitender Sardana, CAIB, CIP— President & Managing Partner. Two decades of personal and commercial brokerage experience across the prairies.
- Palvinder Dhaliwal, CAIB, CIP— Vice President of Commercial Lines & Partner. Leads the commercial book, including construction, hospitality and trucking placements.
- Surinderjit Bhroat, CAIB, CIP— Vice President of Personal Lines & Partner. Leads home, auto and life across the three offices.

Galaxy is a full-line brokerage. We place personal and commercial coverage with the major Canadian carriers, and we handle the MPI Autopac side end to end — including driver licensing, photo IDs and road tests at our McPhillips and Polaris Place offices.
