Our commitment

We believe insurance should be easy to understand and easy to access, regardless of ability, age or language. Our offices, staff and digital tools are designed to meet the spirit and the letter of The Accessibility for Manitobans Act (AMA) and the standards it sets for customer service, employment and information and communications.

In our offices

• Each of our three Winnipeg-area locations offers ground-floor or elevator access, accessible parking and a barrier-free path to our reception desk.
• Service animals are welcome anywhere clients are served.
• If you are accompanied by a support person, they are welcome to join you in any meeting at no additional cost.
• Documents can be read aloud, summarized in plain language, or provided in larger-print format on request.

On the phone and by email

We are happy to take quote requests, explain coverage and complete renewals over the phone or by email if a visit to the office is not practical for you. If you require communication in an alternative format — large print, plain-language summary, email instead of phone, or vice versa — please let us know and we will accommodate the request.

On this website

We aim for this site to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA— the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines published by the World Wide Web Consortium. In practical terms, that means we do our best to make sure:

• Pages are structured with semantic HTML so screen readers can navigate them easily.
• Text and interactive elements meet minimum colour-contrast ratios against their backgrounds.
• Every meaningful image carries descriptive alternative text, and decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
• The site is fully operable using a keyboard alone, with visible focus indicators on every interactive element.
• Forms include clear labels, helpful error messages and the ability to correct mistakes before submitting.
• Layouts adapt down to a 320-pixel viewport without loss of content or functionality, and respect the user’s prefers-reduced-motion setting.

Known limitations

We test the site regularly with keyboard navigation, screen readers and contrast tools, but no website is ever perfect. Some third-party content embedded on our site — for example, external maps or carrier widgets — may not fully meet WCAG standards. We will provide the same information by another means if you ask.
